"I met Sarah briefly at the Alternative Wedding Fayer. I wouldn't call myself a typically traditional bride and loved the fact that she had a bird wing on her head! I got in touch and asked if she'd be able to help me with some ideas for my wedding dress..After sending her some visuals we met up and discussed what I wanted, except I didn't exactly have a clear idea. That's where Sarah was so brilliant. She listened to all my indecision, but took into account my love of African fabrics and Victorian shapes and somehow, through her brilliant eye and ability to really see what would suit me shape wise, she tailored me the perfect piece!! Sarah completely sees you as an individual and is really adept at pulling together your ideas to create beautiful pieces. The detail and skill in my wedding dress is amazing and it was so comfortable to wear. I am now looking forward to wearing it again. Just need to find the occasion. Thank you Sarah! It was fun working with you. I highly recommend! xx"

.I specialise in creating spectacular one off gowns that really stop the show as well as custom fascinators and headpieces and mother-of-the-bride/ guest outfits. Much of my work is historically inspired, and often includes corsetry, intricate bead work and embroidery and even some more unusual materials such as fish scale sequins, feathers and bark!

"Testimonial from Janet: ( detail below)

I wanted a waistcoat for my daughter’s wedding for several reasons: the obvious one that I wanted an outfit which was very special and individual. I found a waistcoat in the internet which was displayed in a museum in Scotland. It was a Tudor garment embellished with fine embroidery. I thought that it would be too difficult for anyone to do it but Sarah spent a enormous about of time an effort to fashion precisely wanted I wanted. We only had two fittings ,  ( I hate fuss so this was wonderful)  but it fitted perfectly! At the wedding it was admired and my daughter loved it. She frequently goes to Kentwell Hall in Suffolk re-enacting Tudor scenes so I thought that the waistcoat was appropriate. If you want a caring, incredible seamstress able to design a very original garment and put amazing embroidery on it, She is the one you should employ!"
